These socks are lovingly hand cranked in Gloucestershire on a Cymbal Sock Knitting Machine; it was manufactured and first used just after the First World War. Women bought the machines to knit socks that they would sell back to the sock knitting machine manufacturers who in turn sold them into the growing market for woollen socks.
They are made from Opal wool that was manufactured in Germany, it is 75% pure new wool and 25% polyamide.
The socks will machine wash at 40°, do not tumble dry or use fabric softeners.
Please make sure that you read the terms and conditions as on ordering a pair of these wonderfully comfortable socks will mean that you accept the terms and conditions of the sale.
